Construction on the new steps going to the snowflake lift is almost complete! With ski season less than three months away we are starting to get excited here in ski country!
Come Celebrate 4th of July at Blue Sky!
With temps in the mid 70s and days full of sunshine, Breckenridge is the place to be for 4th of July. Lots of things to look forward to like the Parade, Firecracker 50, Free concert, and of course the Fireworks! The Firecracker 50, a professional 50-mile mountain bike race goes off at 9:30am with the parade to follow at 10am. There is also a 10k Trail Running Race starting at 7am. Rusted Root will be playing a free concert at the Riverwalk center at 2pm! Also, in addition to the weekend-long July Art Festival, the Breckenridge Arts District opens thier doors Saturday, July 2 for kids’ make-and-take art projects, music, a sidewalk chalk art competition with cash prizes and more. To end festivities the National Repertory Otrchestra will be putting on a patriotic concert at the Riverwalk center, this concert begins at 8:30pm, with Fireworks to follow! There’s plenty to do for the whole family this 4th of July in Breckenridge so come stay with us at Blue Sky!
A new snowfall record!
With last night’s 5 inches of fresh powder Breckenridge has hit 506 inches for the season, breaking the old record of 503 inches. It has been a season to remember and it isn’t over yet! Come stay at Blue Sky Breckenridge and take advantage of some of the best spring conditions Breck has ever seen. The lifts stop turning Sunday so don’t miss out!

The Breckenridge Beer Festival is coming April 9th, so get your mugs now! I attended last year and it was just the perfect way to spend the afternoon after a morning of skiing at Breckenridge. With 15+ amazing breweries and live music from Elliot Brood, Something Underground, and the Holden Young Trio, this is one party you dont want to miss. Tasting Mugs are $25 in advance and VIP is $65. Thw festival takes place in the Main Street Station plaza, a short walk from Blue Sky, or an even shorter ride in the Blue Sky shuttle! This event tends to sell out so get your mugs asap!
